The problem

Why off-the-shelf didn't cut it.

Link building and directory submission is some of the most mind-numbing work in SEO. The same name, email, business details and URLs typed into hundreds of near-identical forms, one field at a time, all day.

Generic password managers like Roboform don't understand SEO submission forms — they miss the SEO-specific fields and choke on modern JavaScript-rendered forms. I wanted something purpose-built for the actual job.

The build

So I built it myself.

So I built SEO AutoFill Pro: store a profile per client, hit one button, and a heuristics engine maps your saved fields onto whatever form is on the page — reading name, id, placeholder and aria-label to figure out what goes where.

A floating glassy widget appears the moment a fillable form is detected, isolated in its own Shadow DOM so it never clashes with the host page's styles. Everything is stored locally in chrome.storage.local, passwords obfuscated, nothing ever sent to a server.
